Wills

A portfolio, a company and a blended family is exactly the situation intestacy rules handle worst. A will is the cheapest piece of planning you will ever buy.

What we arrange

01 Single and mirror wills for couples, with fixed fees quoted up front
02 Property-heavy and multi-title estates, including limited company shareholdings
03 Guardianship provisions for children
04 Trust provisions where protecting a share for children of a first marriage matters
05 Lasting powers of attorney for property, finances, health and welfare
06 Reviews after a purchase, a sale, a marriage or a birth

Questions we get asked

I own everything jointly — do I still need a will?

Yes. Joint ownership decides who inherits the property, not the rest of the estate, and it says nothing about guardianship or your company shares.

Can you deal with the whole estate, not just the will?

We write the will and coordinate powers of attorney; anything requiring a solicitor goes to one we work with regularly, and we stay involved.

How often should it be reviewed?

After any material change — a purchase, a sale, a marriage, a birth, or a change in the company structure. Otherwise every five years.
No will, or one written years ago? An honest view on whether it can be funded, and roughly on what terms. No credit search.
